History

The church, which also acted as a hospital is situated in the entrance to Telde and dates from the middle of the 16th Century. It is built in Renaissance Gothic style from quarry stone. The church was declared a national artistic monument at the end of the 1970s. At present it acts as an exhibition centre for the history of the Telde region.
